6_in_1 Card Reader User’s Manual

Installation guide for Windows 98SE/2000

(Please don’t plug the Reader to USB port before you run the CD)

1. Please insert the CD into CD-ROM.

2. Double Click the CD-ROM drive icon and find the "6_in_1\ setup.exe " file.

3. Double click “setup” then the driver will be installed automatically.

a: Please Double Click “My Computer\Control Panel\System

b:Please click the right key of the mouse on “USB Mass Storage Device”

and than select “Properties”.

f: Please click select “SMSC USB Mass Storage Class Driver”

Please just plug your Card Reader into the USB port then you will see 4

extra icons in your” My computer”. Now you can start to use the Card Reader.

You don’t need to install any driver if your computer’s O/S is Windows ME

or XP. Please just plug your Card Reader into the USB port then you will see 4

extra icons in your File Manager of your computer. Now you can start to use the

Card Reader.

Notes: Due to the Windows ME/XP provide the native driver for the Card Reader.

you will not see the Flash Card Logo on the icons in “My Computer”.

1. Please insert the CD into the CD-ROM.

2. Double click the CD-ROM icon and find the "6_in_1\OS 9.X\INSTALL" file.

3. Double click "INSTALL" The driver will be installed automatically.

4. After you complete the driver, please re-start the computer.

5. After the computer is start, please plug the Card Reader into the USB port.

When you insert a Flash Card, you will see an “untitled” HDD icon in the desktop.

Cards, you will see 3 “untitled” HDD icons.

Notes: Just insert a flash card . you will see an icon on the desktop.

1. Plug USB Card Reader into USB port.

2. Insert a flash card into USB Card Reader and then a disk icon will appear

on the desktop. You can manipulate that as a Mac HardDisk.
